I agree about Keys to the Kingdom :)

Hmmm. I just read a few books that I didn't particularly like. One was called Mirror Dance by an author whose first name is Lois, I think. I'm starting to realize that I don't like sci fi at all, with a few rare exceptions. I also read White Cat, by Holly Black, and it wasn't awful, but it wasn't that great, either.

I just read Eagle of the Ninth, by Rosemary Sutcliff, and I liked that. And The Exiled Queen, by Cinda Williams Chima, which I liked, but which wasn't as original as her other books. This one had a distinct The Name of the Wind feel, which was disappointing.

But! I did read To Say Nothing of the Dog, by Connie Willis, and I loved that. So much.
