I am happy to inform you, all scandalous acts are, in fact, consensual! Even, within the bounds of marriage, which I only mention because sometimes I find it a little difficult to associate the good-girl heroines of historicals with their actual cultural climate when they do not behave like they lived hundreds of years before bra-burning.
