It is, yes. She decided to stop chemotherapy treatments earlier this year, some of my fan-communities posted about it.
I wanted to write a letter, the way many of them were, but couldn't find very personal words I thought would mean anything...
I may just alter this and send a card, instead of trying to say anything much more in a letter, though. Since I did manage to write something.
