tattoo ideas for the quirky and ironic

Hyden, the "Vigilant" (superhero) MC of my new book needs a tattoo.

Of course, being me, though I'm not sure what I want it to be, I have a VERY complex set of criteria. It has to be odd and non-serious, on the lines of RDJ's Chiller font shoulderpiece:

or my uncle's chosen Muppet:

If you were so self-ironic that when you got your first tattoo you got something that almost mocked the idea of getting a tattoo...what would you get?

A roast turkey? No pan or anything, just a profile view of a roast turkey. Pretty much for the reason, "Who the hell gets a roast turkey as a tattoo?"

Haha! What a fantastically HORRIBLE idea.

He totally would have thought about it, even if that's not what he went with...

While pondering further, it occurred to me that someone needs to get a duct tape tattoo... now THERE is a hot but random geek tat. XD

This is all you need to know.

TBH, that is SERIOUSLY what he'd do, only sober. No, on second thought, this fella, just like this: http://www.mariowiki.com/images/f/f0/ToadGP.jpg

Unfortunately, I would have to figure out of they play lots of Mario Kart in this alternate-history city.

See how hard this is. I need to find something LIKE this but justifiable in my being-made-up-as-we-speak AU spinoff history.

This is good stuff, though, and yeah. Food for thought. Food for thought. I don't know if he's the life-altering-decision kind of drunk, but it may make sense for him to do something wasted and then have to fix it up after... better story, anyway.

I really, really, REALLY want to get one of those "MOM" heart tattoos when I'm in my late 70's/early 80's. I think it will be funny as hell. Is that ironic enough? ;)

That is!

I've decided that when I'm 50 I get to start thinking about having a tattoo, and if I want one, by then I'll be able to settle on something, or never have the capability. But I'm not banking on still wanting to at 50. I mostly don't at 24...

Heh.

I just think it would be funny as hell to get a tattoo long after the age that most people do. Also, I'd like one, but I don't want it to get all saggy and distorted. My theory: wait until my flesh is already saggy! Logically sound, yes? ;)

I also intend to wear leathers while tootling around in my scooter.
