Oct. 20th, 2008 02:22 pmTomorrow I start my third and last full week of Pumpkin Festival. I guess I get to work the whole week next week, too, because the shop is open, even after we don't have Festival Stuff. (I was planning to appeal this ruling, but my boss's tone of voice in response to my light-hearted questioning threw that one out of the court.)
So, obviously I'm spending most of today cramming in a little book-work, since it will still be long and long again before I can have a writing life.
Today's Prog Stat (approx.):
15, 000 of 70,000
rereading World Domination 101, post-infusion of new material/pacing. I'm done with this first session. *word poisoning, I r have sum*
(Is this story worth this?)
I'm being inudated with cool steampunk-steamy stuff, having joined/started watching two communities. Here are two links I have culled for anyone's viewing pleasure:
http://www.kapadesigns.com
where watches and jewelry retrograde from sleek to burnished
http://www.skingraftdesigns.com
where clothes are made to cover the neo-Victorian-goth-loli needs of every customer (even males) though they don't always significantly cover the models.
I have become a stealthwatcher of
anachronaut or Kit Stolen (I'm finding the "anachronism" derived names quite pervasive among this crowd, surprise, surprise) so don't tell him I sent you there.
Pretty pictures are what I like. On my poetry journal I just friended the community which features gorgeous photos starring the color orange, and some other one starring other photos. It is quite refreshing.
