Rain usually doesn't work for me as a device, but it looked just fake enough to make me think of real monsoon rain, and I liked the way it counterpointed everyone's stories. "Something to run through the rain like that for" could have been cheesy, but it was quite redeemed.
So tell me what to expect for the rest of it. (From the teaser for the next episode, looks like heartbreak but I mean BESIDES the weepy children in love.)
