LJ's current header is really delightful...I wonder how long it will last?

Speaking of lasting, I think my subconscious suppressant of physical weakness in times of crisis just withdrew. I feel like I'm running a fever and spent the day half asleep.

I wasn't fighting a cold or flu or consumption while spending the last few weeks on High Alert, so I probably won't be actually sick. I have before lasted out with only mild cold symptoms only to collapse the first free moment, though.

Notable cases include:
~ right after my first year of Japanese school (softball team was supposed to meet through out the month of vacation, but I spent the first few days fevered and incapacitated, and the next coughing so hard I pulled a rib)
~ right before my year of college, after my summer of camp counseling, (where being just ill for a few days combined with serious allergies that caused me to cough my voice out)

I already finished the two books I wanted to reread and am casting about for TV that is not taking forever to load on a Saturday night upon the Internet.
...shall I tell another funny joke?
