Take a picture of yourself right now.
Don't change your clothes, don't fix your hair...just take a picture.
Post that picture with NO editing.
Post these instructions with your picture.

And for a study in contrasts, here is Bethany, aged barely 14:

Okay, so I'm showing off. I'm on a long-term project to create a file of photos to print out from our digital camera archives of these years, though, and stumble across things that tickle me.
This was one of those Experiences in ForeignLand where it was a blur and a long walk in tzori so I had very gross blisters...and yet, the photos were worth it.
(I was still at the stunned gratification point of being a media event wherever I was.)
Now. very important!
fabricalchemist has made me a Mr. Poisson picture. Since it's a friends-locked post, I'm hoping it's okay to show you it. Here:

He now has a Facebook, too. (Her version was bigger, so you can click it to see better, I think. The reputed blood on his hands is apparently also a henna job. ^_^)
I know such a picture heavy post should be behind a cut, but...meh. Too many topics, too little motive...

I'm glad you're amused, especially since I was trying to be amusing. If I wasn't, well...that wouldn't be anything new, but we try to grow and learn how to avoid that sort of thing.
The artist and I corresponded quite about about how I envisioned him. After seeing it I told her he's more likely to have grease on his hands, since he has a habit of messing with the insides of clocks, but personally I think it's kind of funny. A portrait of his persona, not his real person.
Now I have to get him into gypsy guise in one of the books somehow. Probably the prequel, where he's young and reckless. ;-)
