(I understand your agony somewhat--I spent a few weeks in Panama, and punctuation on the Spanish keyboard was a form of nightmare, since the labelling was incomplete and GAH. *feelin ur pain*)
So, basically, I think a story should be whole unto itself, and if something belongs to a story, then it should be in it--even if it's kisses in an MG. Therefore, if the bit doesn't belong in the main text, it should not exist at all. Unless it is its own short story, which these fragments would not be. (But which I have created some of for a different series.)
Also, what's in my head now is lame, and if I do write it, it needs to be with the impetus of the story's whole to guide it's shape into something actually readable. That's the problem with all those high-drama or deep-passion bits that float into your head. Usually, they're *not that good*.
PS "Pearl" isn't hard to say if you have the right accent. ^_^ *is not from around here*
